Partner | Chief Compliance Officer | Senior Financial & Life Advisor

Zak’s role:
Zak is responsible for leading LifeGuide’s Compliance, Investment Management, and Financial Life Planning disciplines. He also leads one of the firm’s advisory teams. His team focuses on serving high-net-worth clients, executives, business owners, medical professionals, complex estates, pastors, and fans of Kingdom Advisor.

A bit about his background:
Zak was born and raised in Carlisle. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Lehigh University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He worked as an engineer for five years before finding his calling in financial planning. His personal stewardship journey moved to a whole new level when he and his wife decided to embrace a “finish line” concept with their lifestyle, quantifying their “enough” and investing the rest of their income not in their investment accounts, but in God’s Kingdom. Zak has experienced first-hand how investing in the Kingdom is the best investment one can make—an investment that will pay a return forever! Zak holds the rigorous CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation, as well as the Registered Life Planner® and Certified Kingdom Advisor® designations. He achieved Cabinet and Elite status with AFG, as well as being in the top ten of more than 750 financial advisors with ProEquities prior to LifeGuide becoming independent.

What Zak says he loves most about his job:
“I love the deep satisfaction I get by using how God has uniquely gifted me to tangibly help others. Financial planning brings these two things together for me in an exciting way. That is why I switched to this field from engineering. I especially like getting to apply my analytical problem-solving skills to take our clients to the next level in their journey. I’m always striving to help them find their next breakthrough to give them a higher level of peace, freedom, and impact.”

Outside of work:
Zak loves to share his passions for skiing, soccer, mountain biking, and exercise with his four kids. He and his wife, Lauren, love their church family and are involved in the children’s ministry.
